Allocation methods
PAMM vs MAM: how allocation works
Both facilities let you trade a single master strategy on behalf of multiple investors from one master account — they differ in how each investor's share of that trading is calculated and shown.
PAMM — Percentage Allocation Money Management
- ✓ Investor capital pools into the master account, sized by each investor's percentage share.
- ✓ Profits and losses are distributed proportionally to each investor's percentage of the pool.
- ✓ Simple for investors: one blended equity curve, one performance history.
- ✓ Best suited to strategies traded as a single blended book.
MAM — Multi-Account Manager
- ✓ Trades execute on your master terminal and replicate into each investor's own sub-account.
- ✓ Allocation can be set per investor by balance, equity, lot or ratio.
- ✓ Investors retain a separately identifiable account and statement.
- ✓ Suited to managers who want per-investor risk or lot-size control.
