Trading Calculators

Work out pip value, margin, profit and loss, pivot points and Fibonacci retracement levels before you place a trade — real client-side math, nothing is sent anywhere.

Calculator

Five calculators, one toolkit

Switch tabs to plan a trade. Results update as you type — everything is computed in your browser only, for planning purposes, and is not a guarantee of live execution price.

Use 0.01 for JPY pairs, 0.0001 for most other pairs.

Value per pip

How it’s calculated. Pip value = lot size × contract size × pip size, expressed in the pair’s quote currency. Convert to your account currency at the prevailing exchange rate if they differ. For planning only.

Leverage varies by instrument and jurisdiction — see Trading Conditions (eligibility applies).

Margin required

How it’s calculated. Margin = (lot size × contract size × price) ÷ leverage. Shown in the instrument’s quote-currency terms. For planning only.

Estimated profit / loss

How it’s calculated. P/L = (exit price − entry price) × lot size × contract size, sign-reversed for sell positions. Excludes spread, commission and swap. For planning only.

Pivot & support/resistance levels

How it’s calculated. Classic pivot: P = (High + Low + Close) ÷ 3, with R1/S1/R2/S2 derived from P and the prior day’s range. For planning only.

Retracement levels

How it’s calculated. Retracement levels are measured down from the swing high across the standard 0%, 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 78.6% and 100% ratios of the high–low range. For planning only.

Results are for planning purposes only and do not reflect live pricing, commissions or overnight funding charges.

How to use this

Getting the most from the calculators

  • Start with lot size and contract size — most forex pairs use a standard 100,000-unit contract, but check the spec table for your instrument.
  • Results recalculate live as you type, or press Calculate to recompute explicitly.
  • Use the pivot and Fibonacci tools with your own chart data — they don’t pull live prices.
  • These tools are for planning only; confirm exact margin and P/L figures inside the trading platform before you trade.
